One the first things you probably want to do is to change your password. It only takes 3 quick steps:
1) Open the User Settings tab by clicking the settings icon (it looks like a small gear), in the far right side of the Main Toolbar.
2) In the Settings tab, click the "Change Password" button in the User Profile section.
3) In the Change Password dialog box, enter your old password and your new password.
Creating a Safe Password
The key to a strong, safe password that's difficult for a hacker to crack isn't a complex meaningless jumble of letters, numbers, and special characters. A great password is simply a longer password. It can be multiple words strung together, such as a "MaryHadALittleLamb". It's the length of the password that makes it hard for computers to crack, not the complexity.
TejonBT automatically rejects the most common passwords.
For your protection, passwords are only stored using a one-way encryption. This means your password cannot be recovered if lost. If you forget your password, the User Administrator must give you a new temporary password.
Forgot you Password?
If you've forgotten your password ( and who hasn't at some point?), just let your User Admin know and she can create a new temporary password for you.
If you're the User Admin and you forget your password, just let us know (firstname.lastname@example.org) and we can reset your password.
