The Activity tab lets you see every event in the life of the object whether that’s a change in type and status, an address change.
Because the level of detail can be overwhelming, the activity stream can be filtered using the checkboxes at the top of the form:
- Contact Info
- eMail Activity
- Phone Activity
The Object Editor tab Activity Stream is always sorted by the effective date of the activity.
Note: For some objects, it; useful to view not only their individual activitoes but alo those activieis of another obejct closely related to the object. For exampel, you may want to view the activity stream for a pastor and his church at the same time. Or you might want to view the activities of a married couple at the same time. To solve this problem, Minsitry Weaver merges the atcitives fo objects that share a “primary” connection such as a “spouse connection”, or a “primary contact for a group connection”. The name column indicates the object within the merged acrtivity stream.
Some of the details listed in the Activity Stream point to related data. Double clicking these items can open the related object or data. :
- Connection - Double clicking on a connection in the activity Stream will open the connected object.
- Communication – double clicking a Phone call or eMail will open a dialog box to view or edit the logged communication.
- Data Policy Alert – double clicking a data policy alert will open a dialog to resolve that alert.
Any Data Policy issues that have been found for the open object are listed in the Focus tab.
Cross-Reference – In the Object Editor, the activity for a single object is displayed. The Activity tab, explained in the next chapter, browses the activity for the whole organization.
Data Policy alerts for the whole organization can also be viewed in the Alerts tab.
